Hypothesis Testing

For all statistical analyses, except descriptive analysis, you will need to conduct hypothesis testing
 
All statistical tests result in a test statistic (e.g. z-value) & p-value (significance level):

--> The larger the test statistic (absolute value), the smaller            the p-value

A hypothesis can be “tested” with either a test statistic or a p- value:
